ANNOUNCEMENTS
Besides the Spring Sale at the top of this post, here’s some news from the shore with a gallery of photos to prove our work:
New work truck - meet ‘big blue’. We bought her down in South Detroit with an Oregon plate still on the front. This F250 gasser was born in 1996 and replaces the 2010 Tacoma that Austin totaled (not his fault).
A wedding we hosted last summer was a featured article in The AntiBride. Lily & Matt’s wedding was really inspiring, and loved seeing how they used the Anchor Inn. They were kind enough to share their photos with us if you want to see more.
Winter is for restorations + renovations and this year is no exception. #6 Bathroom was FULLY renovated (worst shower is now the best!)
Lake House bathroom is in process and will be 100% renovated before mid-April! We shouldn’t even be spending time writing this because we should be laying tile or cutting trim.
MICHIGAN SAUNA FEST - We are one of the headline sponsors for the Michigan Sauna Festival for its 2nd annual celebration this April 10-12th here in Traverse City. Get on their mailing list because more tickets are being released soon and we’re doing something special with them that we cannot announce yet…
If you like the lake-cottage, fresh-cozy feeling - our friend Tylee Shay is having her debut book “Life on the Lake” published. It’s available for pre-order and features some of the Anchor Inn’s spaces.
The Bay Froze Over! - we love talking weather & seasons - this winter the West Grand Traverse Bay froze past Power Island (traditional ‘high water mark’) for the first time since 2019. People walked from our beach to the center of the bay to ice fish. The ice was beautiful to see!
