E-bikes give you the option to pedal normally, use pedal assist, or ride without having to pedal at all!
We’re located just a few minutes ride away from trails taking you 15 miles north into Suttons Bay, or south leading into Traverse City.

Full-Day Rental secures an electric bike for a total of eight hours (9:30a to 5:00p).

We’re now offering electric bike rentals you can add to your stay!
Our e-bikes go up to 20 mph and last 6–8 hours, giving you plenty of time to explore the area. Rentals are $50 for a full day, or $20 for the first hour, then $5 for every additional hour. We’ve got four on hand, so there’s room for your whole crew!
We’re just half a mile from the Leelanau Trail, which links up with local favorites like Farm Club and Gilchrist Farm, plus the TART Trail into downtown Traverse City. Click here for a map of the TART Trail.

The Leelanau Trail
The Anchor Inn sits just a few minutes away from the cherry bend trailhead.
one trail will bring you South towards downtown Traverse City, and the other will take you north into Suttons Bay.

Anywhere you desire! The Anchor Inn is located just half a mile from the start of the Leelanau Trail, which connects you to fantastic local spots like Farm Club and Gilchrist Farm, and gives easy access to downtown Traverse City via the TART Trail. The TART Trail (Traverse Area Recreational Trail) is a 10.5-mile paved route that runs through downtown and links up with other area trails, including the Boardman Lake Loop, 3-Mile Trail, and the VASA Pathway. Our e-bikes reach speeds of 20 mph when fully throttled. The speeds can increase or decrease depending on hills and surfaces.
Each e-bike has a battery life of 6 to 8 hours, ensuring you have plenty of time to explore some of the best parts of Northern Michigan. You can conserve power by manually pedaling and not being on full throttle for the full rental duration.

Reservations may be canceled with a full refund if requested one day before the rental date. Please email (anchorinn.mi@gmail.com) or call (231)-714-4484 in the event that you must cancel a rental.

Due to the fact that bikes must be charged for the next renters, there is an additional charge of $20 per bike for every hour late the bike is returned.

The option of adding an e-bike is available by emailing us at anchorinn.mi@gmail.com! If you already have a summer booking and want to add bikes, just call or email—we’ll make it happen. If you have booked the inn for a wedding stay, you have the e-bikes for no extra charge!
