How it works
You have the opportunity to book the Anchor Inn for your wedding group stay with friends and family as you prepare for your big day.
We’ll help you plan an amazing stay, then toss you the keys! It makes for an experience like no other. You get to hang out on the beach, kayak, e-bike, light bonfires, BBQ, play lawn games, and use our sauna before jumping into the lake to cool off. After a long day of fun, each guest can retreat to their private rooms at night.

Get Started!
Email us with your dates + ideas and Austin (Wedding Group Coordinator) will reach out and set up a time to hop on a short phone call to answer any questions and discuss details! Next, we will create a special code that your guests can use online to reserve their room. When booking the entire inn there is a minimum of two nights but guests are free to extend their stay for as long as they please!
Guests will be charged the regular nightly rate. However, there is a (non-refundable) flat fee of $3500 (June - Aug), or $1500 (Sept - May) to have exclusive use of the inn for your group. The individual handling the exclusivity fee will be required to sign our wedding agreement. Any remaining rooms that aren't booked by your guests will be the financial responsibility of the signer.
If you feel like picking up the check yourself, we can quote you one total price for the days you want to rent the Inn and you can assign people to rooms anytime before arrival.
All room deposits and payments will be non-refundable 3 months prior to arrival. Payment for any empty rooms will be taken upon arrival.

Due to local ordinances we cannot hold wedding ceremonies on site. But you can bring all of your friends and family for an enjoyable stay as you prepare for your big day! You’re still permitted to bring a large outdoor tent, portable bar, and food trucks for pre and post wedding day activities.
The inn is a great place to prepare for your wedding ceremony. The cottages and Lake House allow for beautiful scenery to make all of your behind-the-scenes photos unforgettable.

The whole inn all to yourselves!
Staff on-site to assist with parking, trash removal, set-up + takedown of party supplies.
Additional cleaning staff on-site to allow for later check-out times.
Free use of our new e-bikes to ride on the Leelanau Trail. The Leelanau Trail is 15 miles long and begins less than half a mile from the inn!
Use of all amenities which includes free firewood, charcoal, and use of grilling equipment.
Reduced minimum stay in The Lake House from five nights to two nights.

We keep rules to a minimum because we want you to have as much fun as possible! The only exception, due to local ordinances, is that outdoor amplified sound must be turned down after 10 pm.
Please note, we have a maximum capacity of 100 people (50 guests + 50 additional visitors) on-site during your stay, and a total of 35 parking spaces available. There are no public restrooms available so additional visitors must use the restroom of an Anchor Inn guest.

YES! Dogs are allowed in our one and two bedroom cottages. Check our pet-policy page for more details.

On-site staff will restock and replace items such as towels and coffee, while also taking out the trash once a day!
Your room can also be tidied up upon request.

Each room is equipped with a mini-fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and fully functional air-conditioning and heating. The Lake House and Two Bedroom Cottages have full-kitchens. All of our One Bedroom Cottages have kitchenettes. All rooms with a kitchen or kitchenette are also supplied with dishes.
